On the road...

The other day Evelyne and I had a few errands to run. We went and visited my grandparents and dropped by my dads house. Evelyne does pretty great when we're on the 'go'! She hasn't always been that way but with age, being in the car has been much more pleasant. :o) Here are a few pictures of my little friend in the car (during) falling a asleep and sleeping. I'm putting a video up too of her drinking a bottle and falling asleep at the same time!!! It is soo precious. :o) Hope you enjoy! ;o)

We went camping with my parents up at Mt Hood Village.. This was when it was about a million degrees out.. It was even MUGGIER up there!! We played in the river to keep cool. :o)

Abuelo y Abuela

Just recently I've been in contact through facebook/myspace with family on my dads side that I haven't seen in forever or haven't even met!!! It's been just great!


That i can remember I only met my grandpa once or twice before he died and same with my grandma. (She is still alive)Here is a picture that was shown to me from a cousin of mine...

Sleeping Beauty

Since my 'last night' post, mine and Evelyne's nights have been WONDERFUL. I don't nurse her at night anymore AND she doesn't get swaddled! I feel so accomplished! Just today Evelyne is able look out of her crib and SEE ME when I peak in on her when she is fussy, so I have to be VERY sneaky. When she is sleeping it's so much fun to get pictures of her; I never know what i'm going to find!



What a silly girl!!




It looks like she was trying to escape!!!! I thought this was so adorable. There are some nights where Evelyne just goes right to sleep when I lay her in her crib then there are other nights where she fights it like no other! ...Looks like I'm going to need to pull the front of the crib up so my little escapee doesn't jump out! ;o)


And this is another one of my favorites.. I read (yes, read...) that babies 6 months and older can start to get separation anxiety at night time and to give them something soft to go to bed with such as a doll toy or blanket. So, every night E goes to bed with her 'snuggly' that Chelsee made her. She cuddles with it almost every night! :) Thanks, Chels! :)

Sleep is wonderful. I'm a happy mama. :o) I put Evelyne to bed between 8-9 and doesn't wake up till around 6.. Then I bring her to bed with me for just A COUPLE more hours or wonderful sleep. :o) I know I know, not suppose to do that. But who follows all the rules anyways?! ;o) hehe

..BITTER.SWEET..

For the next who knows how long this is where my husband will be for 50+ hours out of the week...



That's right!! Steph's on overtime and MAN, is it a bittersweet. Luckily he's only on six days a week ( I know, only?!) and we get to enjoy our Sundays as a family. I'm SO thankful for that! And the poor guy gets to rest for a day. Thank you! A couple days last week Evelyne and I took daddy lunch. She thought it was pretty fun. :)
