Sister Love

It's funny.. The older Natalie gets the more Evelyne realizes she can bug her.. LOL I LOVE watching these two interact. Natalie watches her big sister all day and Evelyne makes sure Natalie isn't 'touching' anything she shouldn't be. For example if Natalie is touching a toy that 'is Evelyne's' or touching the blanket and Evelyne doesn't want her to Evelyne says 'No touch, sister, No touch!'. LOL I try to explain to Evelyne that it's ok, but I can't help but laugh!! I love these girlies...

Coloring Fun!

We started out this month with a fun coloring activity! I was pretty impressed with Evelyne's coloring skills! :)

(...i've learned that whatever i want to have as a coloring sheet i can google and print it.. kinda fun other than going out and buying a coloring book :-)

The Big Two Five

Lets just make this post short and sweet and then we can just forget it even happened..

That's right people.. I turned the big two five at the end of November. And frankly, I don't want to talk about it. LOL I'm over it now but it was kind of hard at first because I'm not into this getting old thing!!!

My sweet Mother took the day off of work and hung out with me and the girls all day. It was fun! We went to the mall, lunch and costco. What more could a girl want! ;o) My lovely husband then surprised me with dinner with a few friends and family. I sure am loved!!! Have I mentioned how much I love surprises?? Because I really do love em!

ANNNNNND... My most amazing, wonderful, awesome, sweet, loving (did i get em all?) husband surprised me with a NEW CAMERA!!! I pretty much take pictures of my baby girls all day every day and so this was beyond the greatest present ever!

We got this bad boy:

And I am in love!

Hmmm..

{for some reason this post never got posted... here's our Halloween post}

This year was so much fun being that Evelyne was old enough to dress up for Halloween and show interest in what was going on.. We didn't do much since my husband is a 'bahumbug' ;) (just kidding..he only works a BAJILLION hrs.) but we did have a little date night to a friends costume party. The theme was 80's. Although we looked hilarious, we definitely fit the part!! Stephen had a blast dressing up and I had a blast having an evening with no babies. :) First time away from Natalie and it was kind of nice!

ON Halloween we just went to church, and made it through ALL 3 hours. (WOOHOO) I tended to Natalie of course who slept a good majority of the time and Stephen tended to Evelyne who did NOT want to go to nursery by herself. I'm definitely shocked that she is not liking nursery. I thought for sure that she would have no problem with it.. We haven't been too consistant in staying the whole time so now that Nat is older we will definitely be working on that little nursery sitch. Stephen said she had so much fun with the games and songs so hopefully she'll get the hang of it. After that we had a wonderful Sunday nap and then headed off to La Center to visit family.. My parents took Evelyne trick or treating to a couple of their neighbors house's and she got a kick out of getting candy. It was hilarious. And I was so proud of her for saying 'Thank You' all on her own. Although I'm sad that Halloween is over I'm so excited for Christmas!! I keep telling Stephen 'Oh i'm almost done buying for the girls' but I keep finding more and more things I want to get them! :)

Speaking of Christmas...(I'll save this for another post..)

Here are some pictures of our adorable Buzz Lightyear! (Natalie decided to have a blow out before I could get a picture of her in her cute Halloween attire.)Mer.

Before Daddy and Sister got up, Sunday morning we made pumpkin cookies :)

And we went and visited with Grandma Taylor and the girls' little cousins. :)

a few days here and a few days there...

I saw online the most adorable advent calendar ever and made it. :) My plan was to really be consistent and do something fun with Evelyne every day for counting down to Christmas!

So.. We've missed a few days...

Unfortunately Stephen is working 7 days a week and that changes my weekend plans a lot. When I think he'd rather do things Saturday we end up doing them Friday etc or we don't do them at all! (I'm still trying to convince him that we need to take E to the Zoo Lights!!) Evelyne and I just do little things here and there to make this month EXTRA SPECIAL. :)

Thanksgiving 2010

This year we spent Thanksgiving with my Dad and step mom. We rarely ever go over there for holidays and when we do we would just pop in and say hi before heading up to La Center where my Mom and Stephens side is.. So it was nice to be able to spend it with my Dad and brothers. I think my Dad really enjoyed having us and the girls there. And Emilio came too! Dinner was amazing. And we had a lot of fun. :) After that we headed up to La Center to see Stephens side and had fun with them too! It was another long late night. And actually I didn't even go to bed that night because my sister in law and my crazy self went black friday shopping!! We started early at about 3AM! It was a blast and we got some good deals. I didn't really have anything I was looking for in particular but i managed to find something of course ;)

Here's Evo coloring with a few of her little cousins. This is something new that she does when she colors. She lays on her tummy sometimes.. i think it is just the cutest thing. I can't get over how big she is getting!!

Turkey Crafts

tried to get a little creative... this is what we came up with..

Evelyne glued the things she is thankful for on some pretty paper and put the stickers on all by herself. :) I tried to explain to her what 'thankful' meant when we wrote down what we were thankful for.. but she's one people.. she just wanted to make 'pretties' LOL
And she glued all of the little tissue papers on the 'feathers' (her hands) for the big turkey! She had a blast getting sticky and being crafty with Mommy. :)
