'Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree'

I can not believe Christmas is NEXT WEEK! I have so many things I want to do as a famliy and so little time!! I know Evelyne's tiny (it's more just for fun) but I want us to have some special traditions that Evelyne will always remember. :) Hopefully I'll get in gear!!! ;)

We finally got our Christmas tree! My lovely husband crushed my little spirit when he told me we were going to Walmart (sorry to those that get your trees at Walmart) because it'd be cheaper.. I LOVE the cutting down, dragging your tree to the car experience even though I don't do either. LOL On our way to Walmart (BOOooo) we stopped by a little tree corner (LOL) to see how much a tree was. Even those were too expensive. I finally convinced Stephen that by the time we drive all the way to 192nd (it's really not that far hehe) trees there are probably going to be just as much so we might as well just go cut a small one by ourselves. Besides... I couldn't really envision pictures of Evelyne's FIRST CHRISTMAS TREE in the Walmart PARKING LOT! LOL Hahaha Again.. sorry for those of you that do that. :) So, I WON. :) Doesn't happen very often so good thing I got this written down. Here are a few pictures of us enjoying this Holiday Season. :)

yes people NEW MOON was amazing and I had such a great time with my sister/sister in laws and mother in law! we had such a blast and I'm so glad we could all 'get away' and have this time together to just be silly and eat alot! LOL ...my poor stomach is still suffering from my humongous slushie. thanks again for the great time ladies!!! :)

Real quick I just wanted to share..

It was three years ago that a friend of mine came home from serving his mission and shared with me the gospel. It was three years ago that I made the greatest decision ever to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm so very thankful for the privilege and knowledge I have to live my life the right way. I'm thankful for my family who I get to be with forever. My family can be together forever. I'm thankful for Sister (Stevens) Waldren, Sister Hansen and Sister Bates, who were awesome missionaries and helped me along my journey.

This year was so much fun! We didn't go trick or treating this year which was a bummer but I would have felt silly taking E door to door, knowing she wasn't the one that was going to eat the candy. ;o) However we did visit the grandparents and had a blast doing that! Here's just a few pictures from Evelyne's first Halloween. :)

The Friday before Halloween we went to our wards Truck or Treat. It was fun dressing E up. She loved it! They were playing music and Evelyne couldn't help but bust a move. She's such a little booty shaker! ;o)




For those of you who didn't know the Oregon Ducks were playing, don't worry we didn't miss it! (sarcasm, YES!) Our night did revolve around that stinkin football game but as long as the baby boy (Stephen) is happy that's all that matters sometimes! LOL Stephen thought Evelyne should dress for the occasion. :)

Evelynes 9 Month Stats!

First of all I can not believe Evelyne is 9 months old!! She's growing so fast and learning so much! Evelyne's check up was last week and we were so excited because we were able to get a later appointment so Daddy could come with us! The last appointment Stephen was able to go to was the one week check up right after E was born. I was pretty excited to have him there. Evelyne was all smiles and giggles until the doctor came in. Once the doctor started touching and poking Evelyne decided to give her the evil eye. It was pretty comical if I do say so myself. This has been the best appointment yet- No shots! Yippee.

Height: 30inches - 99th percentile
Weight: 23lbs 7oz - 98th percentile
Head: 17.76 inches 81st percentile

From day one, Evelyne has always been a 'Mommy's girl'. I love the bond that we have with one another. Over the last couple months things have switched a little bit. Evelyne loves her daddy so much- I love how much she adores him and how much she melts his heart.

Aside from loving on her daddy, Evelyne enjoys playing with her toys, hanging out with her best friends and crawling around everywhere!!!

Pumpkin Patch

This weekend we took Evelyne to the pumpkin patch for her very first time. It seems like just yesterday I was pregnant, and oh so excited about all of Evelyne's "first". First Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas.. you get the idea ;) AND the time is HERE!! We had so much fun. I was surprised that it wasn't a disaster because I tried so hard to get Miss Thang to take a nap, and she wouldn't! Luckily there was more than ENOUGH to keep her occupied and entertained. The whole fam damily was there (Stephs side) and it was so much fun!!! We had so much fun with Evelyne and such a great time with everyone! Here's some pictures.. There's quite a few- I couldn't pick my favorite ones and I think you'll understand why ;) hehe




The Oregon Ducks (Stephens current obsession) were playing on Saturday so we 'got to' listen to the game in the car.. Here's E giving me the glare...

How bout' that beard! He's so proud.. LOL I think it's pretty hot if I do say so myself... ;o) Since it's getting cold outside Steph decided on the beard.. It's gonna be around all winter. He says still It warms up! LOL I wonder how long it'll get... Atleast it's soft now. :o)

Evelyne passed out before we even left the parking lot! My little princess was pooped! If we ever get around to carving our pumpkins I'll post some pictures!! :o)
