She's trying to satisfy my picture taking with a smile as she 'sneaks' her little fingers in the dirt.. She hasn't yet learned, she can't get anything past mommy. :o)

This Chick Loves the Dirt
She's trying to satisfy my picture taking with a smile as she 'sneaks' her little fingers in the dirt.. She hasn't yet learned, she can't get anything past mommy. :o)
K People.. 'Enough is Enough!!'
Evelyne didn't cry like we thought she would.. But she was definitely suspicious for a few hours!
Doesn't he just look so dang proud! Oh I love this man... :o)

day 1
Today I introduced Evelyne to the big girl toilet.. It was a pretty interesting day. The first thing we did this morning was went straight to the bathroom. I could hear Evelyne play in her crib before I went in and got her so I figured I missed her first pee. :) BUT I thought why not just try! So that's what we did. My first worry was I didn't want Evelyne to be afraid of the toilet. I bought a princess toilet seat and showed her how cool it was.. lol whether she got that or not.. Then we just pretty much hung out in the bathroom the first couple hours in the morning off and on. Two sippie cups and a couple fruit snacks later Evelyne gave me a little tinkle tinkle! WOOHOO!! That was all we did as far as potty training for the first day.. I just wanted to introduce the idea to her and get her to go once. I decided I'm going to take the first week or two to slowly get into it.. don't know what the heck i'm doin, but hopefully it works! Our camera is in the car so this picture is from my phone.. not the best quality but she's pretty dang cute reading her book with her legs crossed. LOL

still working on 'thank you'
She knows what the sign for milk means but doesn't do it..
Evelyne gives kisses (if she likes you..LOTS of kisses..:)
Waves goodbye
This chick makes me so proud and I'm having so much fun with her! She learns so quickly, it seems like every day she is saying or doing something new! Next once I get motivated Little Miss Thang is getting potty trained! I know she just turned one but If I'm consistant and if Evelyne does well with it hopefully she'll be out of diapers by August!! Then when the baby comes we'll only have one in diapers. :) That's my plan anyways.. Lets hope it works! Woot!
Party for the Birthday Girl!
On Evelyne's actual birthday (the 19th) we took her to Red Robin for her first kid's meal. (only because it was free..she barely ate any of it.. lol)She even got a Birthday hug from Red Robin himself!!
Thats Right People!!... This is how we announced to everyone that Evelyne is going to be a big sister! :) I had the thought of framing an ultrasound picture for Evelyne to open in front of everyone but then Stephen wanted to put it on a onesie.. So we did that instead! It was pretty cute and EVERYONE was excited. I keep getting told that i look like I'm loosing weight (which i've lost 12 lbs) but I couldn't tell anyone it was because I am nauseated and can't eat! That probably would have given it away!.. So I'm three months along, due August 6th and we're SO excited!! Yes, we were trying (i don't know why people ask that silly question, especially when you're married....) we'd actually been trying since Evelyne was born! Ok, except for those first couple months. LOL From day one I wanted another baby- I was so over the top with excitment and loved every bit of being a mom and having such a precious little baby that I just wanted to keep them comin! People would tell me that that feeling goes away after the first few months but it never did!! So Evelyne and baby #2 would have been closer but 18/19ish months apart sounds great to me!! We should be able to find out around March if it's a boy or a girl. :) Can't wait!!
Now on to CAKE... :)
Evelyne was having fun giving everyone else bites too! LOL It took her a few minutes to realize she wasn't going to get in trouble for what she was about to do. Ha. Then she pretty much just dug right in!
Here are some randoms...
The girls had tutu's and the boys had crowns. :) Overall, our night was a blast! Thanks again to everyone who came!

Christmas 09
It's so sad to me that the holidays have come and gone. We had such a busy month and had so much fun!! Did anyone else notice getting bills in the mail isn't all that bad when you get Christmas cards too!!? :) Unfortunately I never got around to getting ours out.. didn't even get them made! LOL Next year FOR SURE. I had so much fun taking so many pictures of Evelyne. She had a blast opening presents, and seeing all her grandmas and grandpas. We had MANY late nights and she was a trooper!!! Such a champ- there were even nights we were out that she did fine staying up as long as mommy and daddy! She definately got off schedule a little bit but thank goodness we're back on track! :) The holidays are so hectic for us, Stephen is so great for putting up with my humungo family. I have four sides to visit for Christmas/Christmas Eve because my parents are divored.. It takes him awhile to understand since he grew with just one. But he knows how important it is to me, and that everyone wants to see us and especially our Evelyne! :) Here are some pictures from our Christmas! :)
Here's our Family picture of the three of us at my parents house. :)
Our first stop was to my Dads house. Evelyne got her first new ride. :)
On Christmas Eve we spent the night at my parents. Here's E money getting a ride from Vader. LOL
Here's some pictures of our little Gangster E-Money$$! (nick name credited to Michael May and Julie Bolen) :)
Evelyne got the most cutest (yes.. I said most cutest. LOL) chair from her Grandma and Grandpa Taylor. She's LOVES sitting in it.
Our big concern this year wasn't presents.. We mainly focused on Evelyne. Even though she 'won't remember' her first Christmas she NEEDED some things such as clothes and some big kid toys. :) I however like surprises.. hehe So I surprised Stephen with some stalking stuffers-just little things, and money to go towards his PS3.. And HE SURPRISED ME! At my parents he gave me a coupon book that he made.. :) It was pretty precious.. He had little pictures and then things like 'In the month of February this coupon is good for one free foot massage'.. They were all so sweet and I was so excited for my massages! The last page I didn't get.. It was a picture of (he had to explain it to me..) a scene in Pirates of the Carribean.. LOL Random? LOL The scene is when someone says "Hello Puppet".. Our inside joke is I've always said "Hello Cricket" because that's honestly what I thought it was! LOL So Stephen makes fun of me all the time when I say it. So.. In the scene is said "Hello Cricut".. Turns out that coupon voided all the other coupons. Why?? BECAUSE my awesome husband got me a .....
I've only been begging for one FOREVER and it just so happen to be on a super sale.. My patience has finally paid off. :)
We hope that everyone enjoy the HOLIDAYS... We had a wonderful holiday season, lots of yummy food, lots of time with our families and lots of memory that will last a life time. :)
